Yogaholidays and yogateachertrainings worldwide
Imagine yourself completely relaxed, laying in the sunshine after your transformational, personalized yoga class…deciding whether to snorkel or go diving in magnificent coral gardens… or maybe paddle out for a surf at breaks that you can peruse from the comfort of the private infinity pool, perhaps you’ll just rest, read a book and sip a pure, freshly squeezed fruit juice. Hmmm…later you have your massage planned…
All this and more is actually the reality on our Tamara Yoga Yoga Surf Dive week-long retreat on the island of Nusa Lembongan in Bali.
Tamara Yoga Teacher Stuart Field will be leading the retreat. Stuart is adept at communicating all aspects of yoga and adapting the instruction to suit a range of abilities. You will feel both included and challenged. Students love his classes. He also holds a Doctorate in marine biology so you’ll have the unique opportunity to learn about the stunning marine environment that surrounds the island. The waters around the island of Nusa Lembongan are acclaimed for their beauty. You can see magnificent coral reefs, sun-fish, whale sharks and manta rays by snorkeling directly off the beach in front of the villa, or be whisked away to a range of fabulous diving locations nearby.
This is a great retreat for couples and friends to go to together. With such a range of options available to you there’s plenty for everyone to enjoy. If just one of you loves diving or surfing, and the other prefers getting massages, both of you can get what you want and join together for yoga classes twice a day with instruction modified for each of your individual needs.
It doesn’t matter how experienced a yogi, diver or surfer you are. You do not need to be a specialist in any of these areas to enjoy all of this retreat. If you’re new to yoga you’ll be looked after, if you’re an experienced yogi you will be challenged to take your practice to the next level. For those new to surfing or paddle boarding, there’s a ‘friendly’ break just out from the villa. If you’re already a surfer Nusa Lembongan offers fun and challenging waves a paddle or short boat ride away. If you don’t know how to dive, but still want to explore the beauty underwater, the wonders of the marine world are accessible on snorkel. Joy for everyone.
Nusa Lembongan is a Balinese Island 15km east of Sanur in Bali. Getting To Nusa Lembongan from the airport takes about a 30-minute taxi ride to Nusa Dua and then a 30 minute ferry trip direct to the villa on Nusa Lembongan. The year round average temperature is 30 degrees Celsius, and our retreat will be during the dry season.
We’d love you to join us for an amazing week in tropical island paradise. A unique opportunity to experience yoga adventures in idyllic surroundings with wonderful people.
Each day at 7:00 – 8:30am we’ll have an active morning yoga practice and at 5:00 – 6:30pm we’ll have a more mellow practice for the evening.
