Kim Cope Tait has been practicing yoga and meditation for fifteen years and teaching them for twelve...in Hawaii, California, Vermont and Switzerland. Kim now lives with her family in the green mountains of Southern Vermont, teaching yoga and meditation privately and teaching English to the student athletes of Stratton Mountain School.
Trained in the Amherst Writers & Artists method of leading writing workshops and holding an M.F.A. in Poetry from Vermont College of Fine Arts, Kim is an accomplished teacher of writing; her own written works have appeared in literary journals and magazines in the U.S. and abroad. She is the author of Element, a chapbook of poems, and Inertia, a novel.
Kim is also the author and voice of the album Lotus Wheel: Guided Meditations for Relaxation and Healing. Her Lotus Wheel retreats invite yogis and writers of all levels to explore their creativity through yoga asana and the written word.
