Volunteer at a Yoga Retreat in Canada

Our retreat is an oasis of peace; a sanctuary where guests can pause, reflect, and connect in community with kindred spirits. As well as a nurturing and stimulating atmosphere provides guests with the inspiration to delve deeper into the gift of yoga and the possibilities for transformation and growth.

To support our mission we are looking for a small team of "Karma Yogi's" (volunteers).

We will re open in April 2014 until November.

We are looking for individuals or couples (great setting for a couple) who can commit for a minimum of 3 months, ideally up to 6 months.

Our program runs 6 days a week/ 6 hours a day. In exchange, we offer accommodations in our trailer, vegetarian meals, daily yoga and meditation classes, access to weekend retreats, use of the amenities (sauna, bikes, movie night, canoes, kayaks, swimming, water trampoline, hammocks, library, games room). A monthly stipend is a possibility depending on the length of the commitment.

Work will be mainly in housekeeping, kitchen and garden. Experience with vegetarian, vegan, raw food or permaculture gardening, is a bonus.

Here, volunteering and living in community is an amazing opportunity for growth.

Our exchange program is an opportunity to live in a beautiful setting, to be nourished with excellent food, enjoy nature and to learn about yoga and mediation.

Essential qualities are flexibility, accountability, integrity and kindness. We look for individuals who are positive, have reasonable expectations, a strong work ethic, are welcoming to guests and who are open to learning more about the yogic path.

Please contact us if you are interested.
